Archaea (/ÉËrËkiËÉ/ â ar-KEE-É; sg: archaeon /ÉËrËkiËÉn/ ar-KEE-Én) is a domain of single-celled organisms. These microorganisms lack cell nuclei and are therefore prokaryotes.
